Pricing and shipping
What is included in my purchase?
Every Mightier purchase includes:
- The Mightier app with a growing library of over 25 award-winning games to help your child build emotional regulation skill
- A heart sensor that connects with the app to help kids visualize their emotions during play
- The Mightier Parent app, which is full of insights, and activities to support your child’s progress
- Special access to the Mightier Family Care Team with live support 5 days a week
- Additional family games, like cards, that can be used with the heart sensor
- Access to a private online community of Mightier families
What is your return policy?
It’s important to us that families have an opportunity to see if Mightier is a good fit for them by trying it first. That’s why we have two ways for you to try Mightier.
If you purchase Mightier with a 2-week free trial, we won’t bill you for the subscription until the end of your trial period. You will be billed for shipping when you place your order. Shipping costs are not refundable.
If you purchase Mightier with a 30-day guarantee, you will be billed at checkout. But, you are eligible to receive a full refund of your subscription cost if you submit your return request within the 30-day guarantee period. Domestic and international shipping (and related taxes and fees) are not included in the refund.
If you decide Mightier isn’t a good fit for your family, let us know before the end fo your trial by logging into your account to submit a return, or by reaching out to support.
Does Mightier ship around the world?
Yes! We believe every kid deserves access to mental health tools. Within the United States, our kit typically arrives in 5-8 business days. Expedited shipping is available for contiguous U.S. states and can be added for an additional fee. Expedited shipments typically arrive within 2-3 business days. Orders to Hawaii and Alaska may take a little more time in transit. If you’re ordering from outside of the U.S., please allow an additional 5-10 business days for shipping and customs.
Does international shipping cost extra?
Yes. Shipping rates and applicable taxes, VAT, duties, and fees are calculated at checkout based on the shipping destination. Unfortunately, international orders cannot be shipped with expedited delivery. Returns from international customers will be refunded the original price, minus these costs.
Is Mightier reimbursable?
1. Can I use HSA/FSA funds?
Both the Mightier program and Mightier clinical sessions are eligible for use of your HSA and FSA funds. In some cases, your HSA or FSA provider may ask for documentation of your child’s mental health needs and a summary of the Mightier program, which you can find here.
2. How do I use HSA/FSA funds?
If you have an HSA/FSA debit card, in many cases you can use that to check out. If you need to submit for reimbursement, you may contact our customer support team for documentation of the Mightier program. You may also need to submit evidence that your child has a behavioral health diagnosis.
3. Where can I find a summary of the medical uses of Mightier?
You can find a summary of when Mightier may be medically appropriate for your child on this page, and share this resource with your HSA/FSA provider if requested. Always consult with a doctor or licensed professional before using Mightier for medical use.
Who is Mightier for?
What age is Mightier designed for?
Mightier games are made for kids 6-14, but many families have had success with older and younger children. Even parents love to play! Emotional regulation skills are important for everyone to learn and practice.
Is Mightier only for kids with Autism, ADD, ADHD, Anxiety, ODD, or other diagnoses?
No! While Mightier is clinically proven to help kids with a variety of diagnoses, it’s made for all kids. Lots of kids who struggle with frustration, anxiety, anger, or other strong emotions can benefit from Mightier.
Will my child like Mightier?
Every child is different, but we have all kinds of games for all kinds of kids! Mightier games are played and enjoyed by experienced and novice gamers alike. Take a look at our ever-growing library of games to get a sense of our games.
What about me? Can I use Mightier, too?
We encourage all parents, caregivers, and siblings to play Mightier and to participate in the shared activities on the Mightier Parent App. Family involvement and support is essential. Plus, you might pick up some skills and become a little Mightier yourself!
Can more than one of my kids use the Mightier subscription?
Yes, you can have multiple kids on a single account but each Mightier kit only contains one heart sensor. For groups, organizations, schools, etc. please reach out for information on licensing.
About Mightier games
How does Mightier work?
With Mightier, calming down is a game and learning how to regulate emotions is the goal. To play, kids wear a wireless heart sensor that pairs with our app, which can be played on almost all recent iOS, and Android devices. As their heart rate rises during play, the games get harder. Then, kids use calming exercises to lower their heart rate and keep playing.
What is emotional regulation?
Emotional regulation is the relationship between understanding emotions and reacting to them. It does not mean suppressing or ignoring them. It’s understanding why they’re happening and what we can do to make the situation better. Because Mightier turns emotional regulation into a game, kids can practice calming skills quickly, while having fun. With time and repetition, these skills become second nature in real life situations.
Do I need a special device to play Mightier?
Mightier works on almost all recent iOS and Android devices. You can learn more about the minimum system requirements here.
The science
Is Mightier proven to work?
Mightier is evidence based. Ten years of studies show fewer outbursts, deeper emotional control, and kids who can better respond to real-life stressors. Read more stats and facts on the Mightier science page.
Can Mightier replace therapy?
Mightier works with or without therapy. Combining Mightier with therapy has shown faster clinical improvement across all kids, including a significant reduction in clinical symptoms. Without therapy, Mightier has shown measurable improvements in as early as 90 days. Learn more on our science page.
What is the Mightier “Gizmo?”
The Gizmo represents the Heart sensor inside the game. Essentially, it’s an emotion meter for your child to always stay aware of their heart rate. This helps kids visualize and connect with their emotions, and practice cooling down with instant feedback.
